While the example site-built home does not have a finished attic, this lesson reviews the steps needed to enter audit information for a finished attic. Like the entry for an unfinished attic, you will need to have the following information about your structure:
Attic area type
Attic floor type
Area (in square feet)
Existing insulation type and depth
Type, R-value and/or depth of any added insulation
