Getting Started with the WA

We encourage you to click on the Overview of the WA link in the menu on the left to receive an overview of the Weatherization Assistant software before learning how to setup the Weatherization Assistant software on your computer and use NEAT, MHEA, or the Advanced Features. You will be better prepared to move into the detailed lessons covering the Weatherization Assistant once you have gained a general understanding of the Weatherization Assistant, its layout, the Recommended Measures Report, and navigation principles applicable to the Weatherization Assistant.

Click on the Setting Up the WA to learn how to download, install, and initialize the Weatherization Assistant software. Knowing how to correctly initialize the software is especially important for new users who have just installed the software on their computer. For experienced users, these lessons can also be useful to make sure your software has been setup correctly.
