Getting Started with the WA


Weatherization Assistant also contains the Manufactured Home Energy Audit (MHEA) program for mobile homes. Like NEAT, MHEA follows a series of steps to select the energy efficiency measures that meet a user-defined level of cost effectiveness for a particular mobile or manufactured home.

This section of the Weatherization Assistant Training uses an example mobile home for all the courses and lessons. To get the most value from this hands-on training, we recommend that you view and print the plan and elevation drawings of the home as well as the page describing the mobile home’s systems from the links below, so you can follow along as you move through the MHEA training.

The lessons that make up each course in this level are designed to be completed sequentially, at your own pace. In addition, a number of lessons have ‘Learn More’ videos, where you can view additional information about the topic at hand.
